Notice to All Such Apartments whose DC Power Cut is Imminent

The South City Maintenance Committee (SCMC) is pleased to inform that as per the latest information available with us only349numbers of apartments are yet to pay the ad hoc maintenance charges for at least June, 2013. 

As per our policy announced earlier, we will begin disconnecting the DG support to the apartments listed below and put up in your block Notice Board along with this notice.

Payments made by following individuals could not be associated with any apartment:

  1. Chetan Jain
  2. Divya Sunil
  3. Madhusudan/ Sukanya
  4. Nagabhushana R K
  1. Radhakrishnan
  2. Rajendra Shankaran (2 Entries)
  3. Ramamurthy S

SCMC has tried its best to ensure there are no mistakes. However, SCMC apologizes in advance for such inadvertent mistakes, if any, in this list. Such persons are requested to contact SCMC office or send email only to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. immediately (not later than July 14, 2013). 

The DG backup will be restored to these apartments only after the following conditions are met:

  1. The apartment pays up the entire three month's ad hoc maintenance, that is, for June, July and August 2013. 
  2. They have to make the payment through Banker's cheque or a Demand Draft or NEFT followed by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with transaction details, apartment no. and owner’s name.
  3. They have to pay a penalty of Rs.600/- in addition to the maintenance charge payable.
  4. They have to pay, in addition, an administrative charge of Rs.500/- to cover the cost and nuisance of disconnecting and reconnecting DG power supply.

The above has to be done during office timings only - that is, 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM, or
2.30 PM to 5.30 PM, on all days except Tuesdays and Sundays.

The DG connection will be restored within 48 hours from the time the above conditions are met. They cannot get instant reconnection on payment.

If any of these apartments do not pay up even by July 20, 2013, SCMC will be constrained to announce further penal actions. 

SCMC sincerely hopes there will no occasion for such actions.
